Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling has represented New Jersey’s 11th District since 2016. Houghtaling is the chair of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, vice chair of the Oversight, Reform and Federal Relations Committee and a member of the Telecommunications and Utilities and Labor committees.

Houghtaling is a journeyman electrician and a proud, 40-year member of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 400. He has served as a representative to Monmouth and Ocean Counties Central Labor Union.

A lifelong resident and former mayor of Neptune Township, he lives there with his wife and they have two daughters and seven grandchildren.
