About Lance

Rep. Lance Yednock represents the residents of Illinois’s 76th District. He was elected to office in 2018 and is a member of the Agriculture and Conservation, Labor and Commerce, Subcommittee on Workforce Development, Transportation—Vehicles and Safety, and Veterans' Affairs committees.

Yednock was an equipment operator for nearly 28 years and a business agent and executive board member of Operating Engineer's (IUOE) Local 150. He has spent his career fighting for the rights of working men and women, and he sought public office after seeing the repeated attacks on working families in his state.

He is a lifelong resident of Ottawa, Illinois, where he resides with his wife.
